After counting 99.94% of the protocols, the current Russian President Vladimir Putin gains 87.3% of the votes in the presidential election. Nikolai Kharitonov from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation receives 4.32%, Vladislav Davankov from “New People” – 3.83%, Leonid Slutsky from the Liberal Democratic Party – 3.2%.
The turnout in all regions was 74.22% (data as of 18:00 Moscow time), the turnout of voters registered in the DEG was 94%.
This will be Vladimir Putin’s fifth presidential term. The presidents of Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, as well as the leaders of North Korea, Qatar and other states have already congratulated him on his victory.
