Forbes: the Ukrainian army is faced with a shortage of dozens of military brigades

Forbes magazine reports that Ukrainian troops are likely to be short of dozens of military brigades. The publication believes that Kyiv does not have enough new units to carry out a rotation of troops.

As an example, Forbes cited a situation where reinforcements were sent to Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region in the form of one unit that was not equipped with heavy equipment. According to the publication, there are two Ukrainian brigades in the village area, namely the 65th and 82nd, and the third brigade, the 47th, in turn, was previously sent to Avdeevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

The magazine refers to a post by a brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on social networks, which states that the 141st brigade, formed last summer, was recently sent to Rabotino. It is noted that this unit does not have new tanks, and it seems that it lacks auxiliary forces.

As Forbes noted, the brigade’s possible shortage of heavy equipment reminds us that after the failure of the so-called counteroffensive, Kyiv is finding it difficult to equip all units equally.
