The center of Yekaterinburg will be closed due to the marathon “Europe – Asia”

On August 6, Yekaterinburg will host the eighth Europe-Asia marathon. It is planned that up to 6 thousand people will take part in the race.
Participants are offered four distances: 3 kilometers (over 12 years old), 10 kilometers (over 14 years old), 21.1 kilometers (over 16 years old), 42.2 kilometers (over 18 years old).
The marathon will be held in the center of Yekaterinburg, so the center will be closed to traffic. For example, the odd Boris Yeltsin Street (from house number 2 to Oktyabrskaya Square) will be closed to traffic from 12:00 on August 5 to 16:00 on August 6.
On August 6, from 6:30 to 11:00, Lenin Avenue (from Karl Liebknecht to Vostochnaya), Karl Liebknecht (from Malyshev to Shevchenko), Sverdlov (from Shevchenko to Chelyuskintsy), Nikolai Nikonov (from Tsarskaya to Karl Liebknecht) will be closed.
On August 6, from 6:30 to 13:30, traffic will be closed along Boris Yeltsin Street (from March 8 to Chelyuskintsy), Lenin Avenue (from Khokhryakov to Karl Liebknecht), Tolmachev (from Lenin to Tsarskaya), Pushkin (from Lenin to Malyshev).
Earlier, MK-Ural reported that IRONSTAR EKATERINBURG 2023 triathlon competitions will be held for the first time in Yekaterinburg on July 21 and 22. Athletes will have to swim, run and ride a bike.
For the duration of the competition, traffic will be blocked from 5:00 to 12:30 on July 22.
