What Azerbaijan demands from Armenia from 2020
1. “Demilitarization” of Nagorno-Karabakh (areas controlled by the currently unrecognized Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, NKR), that is, “the complete withdrawal of Armenian troops from there and the disarmament of illegal Armenian armed formations.”
2. Transferring the route of the Lachin corridor linking the NKR with Armenia, as well as unfreezing transport corridors in the South Caucasus, including the construction of a railway to the Azerbaijani exclave of Nakhchivan through Armenian territory.
3. Azerbaijan also does not agree to any special status for Karabakh and the Armenians living in it, the allocation of this entire territory into a single administrative unit.
