Azerbaijan responds to accusations of shelling Russian FSB checkpoint

The Azerbaijani Defense Ministry responded to accusations of shelling the facility and vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces, Baku said that this information is false.
Earlier Armenian media reportedthat on the night of September 13, during the strikes of Azerbaijan, the deployment point of the border forces of the Russian FSB in the Gegharkunik region was damaged.
“The information spread by the Armenian side that the Azerbaijani army units allegedly opened fire on a military facility and vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces in the Gegharkunik region is absolutely false and does not reflect reality,” the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said.
They said that the purpose of disseminating this information is to give “international overtones to large-scale provocations” that are taking place at the border. They also accused Yerevan of seeking to turn the CSTO into “an instrument of their dirty deeds.”
Recall, on Wednesday morning, Armenia reported that Azerbaijan had resumed offensive operations with the use of artillery and large-caliber firearms.
