According to the decree “On the system and structure of the executive bodies of the Kherson region”, the military-civilian administration of the region was renamed into the regional administration. The executive power is directed by the governor, and the government becomes its highest body.
“The governor will have four deputies, the prime minister will have five. Also, ministries, departments, services and some other departments will be included in the structure of the executive authorities,” wrote in his Telegram Volodymyr Saldo, appointed Acting Governor of the Kherson region.
In his opinion, the issued decree is a step towards the integration of the region into the Russian legal field and the transition to a “peaceful track”.
On September 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decrees on accession to the Russian Federation DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. International community did not recognize the accession of subjects to Russia and the results of referendums, thanks to which the Russian authorities legitimized the inclusion of regions into the country.
