Gagin: Western tanks may no longer be useful to Kyiv

Advisor to the acting head of the DPR, Yan Gagin, said on the air of the Rossiya 1 TV channel that the tanks that Western countries promised to supply to Kyiv might no longer be useful to him.
“Now Ukraine is losing very seriously, in terms of personnel, first of all,” Gagin said, stressing that the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffer daily losses “in monstrous numbers.”
He added that maybe when the tanks come to Ukraine, “there will be no one to fight with them.” Gagin clarified that he meant the absence of infantry, which should follow the tanks.
He also drew attention to the fact that Ukraine will receive tanks of different systems, respectively, it will have to organize the constant movement of many spare parts to the front line, as well as fuel and so on. At the same time, according to him, Western tanks are very complex products and maintenance work must be carried out after almost every battle.
