An appeal was sent to Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin with a proposal to transfer the building of the Ukrainian Embassy in Moscow to patriotic organizations, reports the Telegram channel Mash.
The embassy is located in the house of merchant Zaborova in Leontyevsky Lane, worth at least 5 billion rubles. The building has not been used since February 2022, when Ukrainian diplomats left Moscow.
The lease agreement with the Russian embassy in Kyiv has been terminated, and it is planned to transfer ownership to Ukraine, according to an appeal from the Russian Foundation for the Protection of National Historical Heritage.
