The Ukrainian military shelled the administration building of the head of the DPR in the center of Donetsk, informed headquarters of the defense of the republic. “The Central Hotel on the street was damaged. Artem and the building of the administration of the head of the DPR, where the fire broke out,” the message says.
By information “Donetsk News Agency”, the shells hit the right wing and the top floor, and the building started on fire. Head of the city administration Alexei Kulemzin published photographs of the administration after the strike.
According to the headquarters of the territorial defense of the republic, as a result of shelling in the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk, two local residents were killed.
Information about the dead confirmed also the head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, in his video message against the background of the damaged administration building. According to him, the shelling was carried out from 155 mm NATO caliber guns.
Last Friday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the Kirovsky district of Donetsk, as a result of which died two civilians. It was noted that the shelling was carried out with the use of large-caliber artillery and mortars.
Earlier at the beginning of the month APU fired upon first, the railway station in Donetsk, as well as the drama theater, where the farewell to the deceased DPR colonel Olga Kachura was to take place.
