Funds for the implementation of the state program “Tourism Development” in the amount of 28.5 billion rubles. transferred to the government reserve fund.
The press service of the Ministry of Finance of RBC confirmed that budget funds for Rostourism will be reserved in the draft budget for 2023-2025 “until the government makes the necessary decisions to implement federal project activities under the state program” Tourism Development “”.
The Ministry of Economy told the publication that there would be no reduction in funding for the tourism industry. The total cost of the activities of the Tourism Development program for 2023-2025 is more than 90 billion rubles. at the expense of the federal budget, the department added.
The Federal Agency for Tourism (Rostourism) has existed since 2004, but was abolished on October 20 by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
