In Britain, a man who won a luxurious mansion in the lottery disappeared three days after receiving the prize. The newspaper reports Daily Star.
Glen Elmy won a £3 million luxury home in north Devon in October 2021, according to the publication. He quickly moved to start a luxurious life, but soon disappeared.
While receiving the winnings, the man told reporters that he really liked the new house. “Like from a Bond movie,” the winner said of the posh mansion.
However, the man later learned that coastal erosion threatened to destroy the rock on which his property stands. The corner of the house reaches almost to the edge of the cliff and at any moment it can collapse into the water.
Glen Elmy left the mansion three days after moving in. Nobody saw him again.
The British edition notes that the house with Elmy’s trick was never transferred to the property. According to the documents, it still belongs to the company Omaze, which conducted the draw.
