The British Ministry of Defense ruled out the supply of fighter jets to Kyiv before the end of the NWO

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace ruled out a quick delivery of fighter jets to Ukraine, aircraft can be sent to Kyiv only after the end of hostilities. Wallace reported this in interview Spiegel magazine.

“There will be no quick deliveries of fighters, certainly not at this stage of the war, and certainly not in six months,” said Wallace (quoted by RegionalHeute).

According to the minister, this position is “a consensus among Western partners.” He explained that the delivery of aircraft like the Eurofighter is possible only after the end of hostilities, since the training of pilots takes a lot of time. However, in general, London is at some point ready to “take this step”. “We signal once again our determination to help Ukraine for as long as it is needed,” Wallace said.

The head of the British defense department also warned against high expectations about the decision to supply tanks to Kyiv. Armaments, while “will make Ukrainians stronger,” are not a “magic potion” that can change everything, he said.

Earlier, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said that he discussed the possibility of providing fighter jets to Kyiv at a meeting with Zelensky on February 8. Reuters also reported that the prime minister’s office announced about plans to expand assistance to the armed forces of Ukraine, including the training of fighter pilots and marines. Against this background, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that sending fighter jets by the UK could only prolong the conflict in the country.

On February 14, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the supply of combat aircraft to the Ukrainian army is not an urgent issue. According to the Secretary General, deliveries of what has already been promised are urgently needed, in particular armored vehicles, infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs), as well as ammunition for the systems already available in the country.

The Russian authorities have repeatedly criticized the supply of weapons to Kyiv. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, warned that “pumping up” Ukraine with weapons brings the alliance closer to the dangerous line of a direct military clash with Russia.
