The British Ministry of Defense reacted to Putin’s decision to mobilize

British Defense Minister Ben Wallace commented on the decision of Russian President Vladimir Putin to announce a partial mobilization.
“President Putin has broken his own promise not to mobilize part of his population,” he said.
Wallace believes that the mobilized will be poorly armed, he also said that “Ukraine still wins.” In addition, Wallace pointed out that Russia “is becoming a global pariah.”
Former British Prime Minister Liz Truss urged Russia to curtail special operation in Ukraine and pay reparations to Kyiv. Only after that the Russian Federation will be able to return as a full partner to the international arena.
Recall that on September 21, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in Russia. The corresponding decree has already been signed. As part of the partial mobilization, citizens will be called from the reserve. According to Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, 300,000 reservists will be drafted into the Russian Armed Forces.
