The British Foreign Office refused to confirm or deny whether British-French Storm Shadow missiles were used in the attack on Sevastopol. Deputy Foreign Minister Tariq Ahmad responded evasively to RIA Novosti’s request.
He stated that Ukraine, like any sovereign state, has the right to self-defense. And Great Britain supports her in this.
On Friday, the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet came under a missile attack. The Ministry of Defense clarified that the air defense forces managed to shoot down five missiles. The attack damaged the historic headquarters building. One soldier is missing.
The commander of the Ukrainian Air Force, Nikolai Oleshchuk, previously veiledly confirmed that Ukraine was involved in the missile attack on Sevastopol. In his Telegram channel, he posted information about it and wrote that he thanks the pilots.
Later, the Sky News channel, with reference to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, published information that Sevastopol was fired at with Storm Shadow missiles
