The British Defense Minister discussed with Zelensky the “long-range capabilities” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky reported on his Telegram channel that he met with British Defense Minister Grant Shapps in Kyiv and discussed with him the “long-range capabilities” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The statement came amid reports that Zelensky had appointed former commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny as ambassador to London.
Zelensky also noted that he discussed with Shapps the continuation of defense cooperation between the UK and Ukraine, the strengthening of Ukrainian air defense and the urgent needs for weapons and ammunition.
In addition, the issue of joint production of weapons was discussed.
