Brazilian football player of St. Petersburg “Zenith” Yuri Alberto said he did not want to return to the team. Now he is on loan at the Brazilian Corinthians.
He said in an interview with ESPN that he wants to continue playing for the Brazilian club and feels “one” with this team. At the same time, Alberto stressed that his future fate will depend on the position of the Zenit leadership.
Alberto was loaned out in June 2022. In return, the St. Petersburg team received two other Brazilians: attacking midfielder Gustavo Mantua and goalkeeper Ivan Quaresma da Silva.
Alberto himself began to play for Zenit in January. He managed to play 15 matches for the team, scoring six goals and scoring four assists.
