“The Boy’s Word” is to blame: where are the bandits and where are the patriots

Lovers of moral values ​​have become more active. They have a new object of criticism. Even two. The series “The Boy’s Word” (I haven’t watched it, so I won’t judge), and the mystical urban horror “Food Block” based on the novel by the modern classic Alexei Ivanov, the same one who wrote “The Geographer Drank the Globe Away” and “The Heart of Parma”.

I watched the first season of “Food Block” and also read the original book. The story of hypocritical bloodsuckers pretending to be faithful pioneers in the light of day, and at night they ate half of the summer camp, seems quite realistic. Only with a tie the color of blood around their neck can they exist among others. They take it off and they begin to choke.

They are the best. They are an example to everyone. The most obedient, the most diligent, the most devoted to covenants.

On a white day, everything is sewn and covered. The red flag on the flagpole is swaying. But at night they take off their masks.

The vampires in the pioneer camp differed from living people in that they did not read the nuances. They hid their true essence behind correct, but dead words, so that no one would guess what they really were. Who will look for the living dead among ideal children?

So today’s adherents of morality and morality… don’t read it. That’s why, apparently, they hated the second persecuted series, “The Boy’s Word.”

The Lay has the opposite plot. It’s about our bestial reality in the early 90s and the teenage gangs that filled the city streets back then.

And how children grew up in a world where everything – the concepts of good, evil, truth, strength, justice – suddenly turned upside down. We all came out of this “Word,” just as our ancestors once did from Gogol’s “The Overcoat.” But we had to somehow survive, adapt.

Too many people now want to pretend that this time never happened. Ban the series – and that’s it, we’re in the house. I don’t see it, which means it never existed.

In the 2000s, we also watched the legendary “Brigade” as a documentary. By the way, this series had no impact on crime in the country; in 2002, when it was shown for the first time, organized crime groups were already at the end of their fame. Another era was dawning. And the actors who played in it became not bandits, but, on the contrary, patriots.

So do not prevent capable citizens from forming their own ideas about what is good and what is bad.

Look how Poklonskaya once demanded to ban “Matilda”, what a gorgeous advertisement she made with it. But it turned out to be a so-so work of art…

Give it a chance, and we will ban “Crime and Punishment.” What can this novel by a state criminal sentenced to death and pardoned by the kindness of the Tsar-Father teach? Moreover, there is a whole ideological justification for the murder of the old woman. And “Anna Karenina” with a description of the method of suicide?

I don’t even ask whether those who demand to immediately stop showing them have watched these series. If not (most likely), then how can these comrades say that they teach bad things? If so, then it’s some kind of perversion to watch, tirelessly, a multi-part movie that you so openly don’t like. Nobody is forcing you. Don’t force others too.

It’s funny, really, that the current aggression of young people is blamed on the series, and not on what they see and hear around them.

It turns out that “the Word” is to blame for everything.

Another thing is that many people have no alternative in life today. Alternatives that the teenage generation would believe in, which actually perfectly distinguish good from evil, and sincerity from hypocrisy. They are not adults. They haven’t forgotten how yet.
