The boxing competition for the Airborne Forces Commander’s Cup ended in Ryazan

The boxing competition “Airborne Commander’s Cup” for the prizes of Hero of Russia Vladimir Shamanov has ended in Ryazan. This was announced by the Vice-Governor of the Ryazan Region Artyom Branov on Sunday, April 7.
Athletes from 22 regions of the country took part in the tournament. The competition was attended by Hero of Russia Vladimir Shamanov, Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Tatyana Kiriyenko, deputy head of the RGVVDKU Alexander Kuleshov, Olympic champions Alexander Lebzyak and Vyacheslav Yanovsky.
“Everyone knows that Ryazan is the capital of the Airborne Forces, so holding such a tournament in our city is no coincidence and deeply symbolic. Our paratroopers participating in a special military operation are for us an example of courage, bravery and national pride,” noted Artyom Branov on his page on the social network.
