The youngest deceased prisoner of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU), who was on board the Il-76 military transport aircraft shot down today in the skies over the Belgorod region, was 21-year-old Ivan Roy. SHOT reports.

According to the Telegram channel, the young man lived in Chernigov, he was fond of mixed martial arts and football, was an active fan, and also worked as a DJ.

Roy graduated from the Chernigov College of Transport and Computer Technologies and was engaged in renting out cars in civilian life, which is why some considered him a fraudster and a “scammer.” In the army, in his own words, he was simply a checkpoint inspector.

Earlier it became known that the crew of the Il-76 sacrificed himselfto prevent the plane from falling in the village. Russian pilots saved the lives of civilians.

After the missile hit, the crew had about 40 seconds to bail out. However, they did not do this and took the board into the field.

The media also wrote that the downing of the Russian Il-76 became possible because the plane was moving without the cover of fighters and electronic warfare forces.

The Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine admitted that an exchange of prisoners was planned for today, but it did not take place.
