American businessman Elon Musk has decided to transfer control of that part of the Starlink satellite Internet, which is used in the conflict in Ukraine, to the Pentagon, said the businessman’s biographer Walter Isaacson.
The biographer said that Musk decided to do this so as not to “be responsible for the boundaries and rules of use” of satellite Internet.
Starlink is a global satellite system deployed by Elon Musk’s SpaceX. Starlink is used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces for communication between units and weapon guidance.
