“The Best Industrial Design of Russia”: 16 companies from the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will present their projects to the jury

16 companies based in the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” submitted their applications for the “Best Industrial Design of Russia” award at once. Recall that the competition was organized by the government of the capital, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

“The award is aimed at popularizing industrial design among Russian manufacturing enterprises, as well as at drawing attention to the domestic visual culture and supporting achievements in this area. 16 enterprises from the Technopolis Moscow SEZ submitted applications for the award, – said Vladislav Ovchinsky, head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the capital.

He added that the enterprises presented their products in 4 categories at once: “Shoes”, “Electronic device”, “Urban design” and “Hi-tech”.

According to Gennady Degtev, General Director of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, the award is represented by three categories – a design prototype, a design product and an audience award. In the first, a prototype is enough, and in the second, you need to show the finished original product. The choice of categories for participating products is large. These are high-tech, electronic devices, urban design, vehicles, and a number of others.

It should be noted that some teams of authors from the SEZ put forward several products for the competition at once. The results of the award will be summed up at the end of the summer. The winners will be able to place a special laureate badge on their products.
