State TV of Belarus reported the detention of a “Ukrainian agent” who was filming the Iskander complex.

The state TV channel “Belarus 4 Mogilev” reported that KGB officers detained a citizen of Belarus in the Mogilev region, who was accused of working for Ukraine.

The story claims that the Belarusian contacted the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense on his own initiative, was recruited and subsequently wanted to cross the border and serve in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The TV channel showed footage of the suspect being detained. He stated on camera that, on the instructions of the curators, he was filming the Iskander complex. Previously, this citizen was reportedly convicted of insult to the president Belarus. The TV channel stated in its story that the man had committed “treason against the state,” RIA Novosti indicates.
