The Bavarian prosecutor’s office considered the pro-Palestinian slogan to fall under the “article on Nazism”

Bavaria’s senior prosecutor, Andreas Frank, said the slogan “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” falls under the same article of the German criminal code that previously applied to SS slogans.
Frank, quoted by the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper, clarified that we are talking about Article 86a. “Anyone who publicly uses propaganda materials from banned organizations will be held accountable,” he said.
The slogan, according to many experts, suggests that Israelis should be forcibly expelled from the territory between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea, that is, from all of Israel.
