The Bank of Russia showed commemorative coins with Antoshka

On November 15, the Central Bank issues commemorative coins dedicated to the film almanac “Merry Carousel” into circulation. They will depict Antoshka from the cartoon of the same name, which was released in the first issue of the film almanac in 1969. It is reported on the site regulator.
The series of coins includes:
- a silver coin in denomination of three rubles with a circulation of seven thousand pieces;
- from base metals with a face value of 25 rubles with a circulation of 850 thousand pieces;
- from base metals with a face value of 25 rubles with a color coating with a circulation of 150 thousand pieces.
“The issued coins are a legal means of cash payment on the territory of the Russian Federation and are required to be accepted at face value in all types of payments without restrictions,” the Central Bank said in a statement.
