The balance warned of communication problems due to the construction of fortifications in the Kherson region

Acting Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that fortifications in the left-bank part of the Kherson region, which is controlled by Russia, are being built at a high pace. According to him, due to construction work in the region, there are interruptions in communication.

“All these works are carried out on the basis of the scientific substantiation of military science. They are being built quite quickly,” said Vladimir Saldo in a video published in his Telegram channel.

“The Internet is stable almost everywhere, but mobile communication is rather lame. This is mainly due to the large number of fortification works that are being carried out in the region. This is due to the large number of fortification works. It’s just corny gusts – excavators are working, tearing cables. We have to restore them,” he added.

Mr. Saldo also said that in recent days, 15,000 out of 100,000 residents have left the frontline 15-kilometer zone on the left bank. “Moreover, some people, as I am informed by the heads of the administrations of Nova Kakhovka, Alyoshek, are returning,” he said.

In March, Russia took control of the Kherson region. At the end of September, the region was included in the Russian Federation. On November 11, the Russian army left the right bank of the Kherson region, including the city of Kherson. This territory came under the control of Ukraine.
