Reports about the creation of a foothold by the Ukrainian military on the left bank of the Dnieper are a lie, said Volodymyr Saldo, acting head of the Kherson region. At the same time, according to him, there may be individual cases of landing saboteurs.

“I officially declare that as of April 23, there are no enemy bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper near Aleshki, as well as in any other places on the left bank of the Kherson region or on the Kinburn Spit,” wrote Balance in your Telegram channel.

According to him, the Russian military is in full control of the territory. The head of the region added that cases of landing by Ukrainian sabotage and reconnaissance groups (DRGs) “may take place.”

On the left bank, they only have time to “take a selfie” before being “covered by our artillery and destroyed or thrown into the water by our fighters,” Saldo said. According to him, reports about the Ukrainian bridgehead are lies spread by “enemy resources” and some Russian platforms “are caught on this bait.” The media and bloggers should trust only official sources and double-check the information, the head of the region emphasized.

In April, Saldo said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine had concentrated a large number of boats on the right bank of the Dnieper, which may indicate the intention of the Ukrainian army to cross the Dnieper.

Kyiv announces a counteroffensive from the winter.
