The Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov announced the postponement of the Unified State Exam (USE) in the Russian language in the Shebekinsky urban district. The decision was made against the backdrop of an increase in the intensity of shelling of the municipality.
“According to the exam. First, all 11th graders have the option not to take the exam. There are such solutions. But if you decide to go to a university, you need to take the exam or take exams already at the university itself. Second, we will reschedule the USE exam in the Russian language for residents of the Shebekinsky District to Tuesday,” wrote Mr. Telegram.
In addition, the Belgorod governor instructed the Minister of Roads and Transport, Sergei Yevtushenko, to work with carriers on the possibility of bypassing Shebekino by public transport if the routes pass through the city. At the same time, he noted that “we cannot allow an increase in the cost of tickets.”
Shebekinsky urban district five times was under fire on 27 May. One person died, three were injured. 11 apartment buildings, two enterprises, three commercial facilities were damaged.
