In Tuva, the families of mobilized citizens receive priority assistance in the form of distribution of live sheep and shipment of coal, the government of the region reports. Since September 28, more than 90 sheep have been handed over to families from nine districts – each with one head of small cattle.

In the Bai-Taiginsky district, along with sheep, family members of those who were called were given potatoes. According to the head of the Ministry of Agriculture of Tuva, Sergei Ondar, the distribution of livestock is planned to be completed before the end of the week. In addition to live cattle, flour, potatoes and cabbage are delivered to families. Transportation of humanitarian aid to the recipients must be provided by the municipal authorities.

A number of districts began delivering coal to the homes of the mobilized; in Shagonar, the local administration also provided firewood to families. Also among the priority measures is financial support for families in the form of payment of 5 thousand rubles to each child under 17 years of age of a mobilized citizen. To receive this money, families need to apply to social protection centers. Earlier, the head of Tuva emphasized that further measures would be taken to support the families of servicemen.

“We must do everything so that our men, fighters, can safely do military service. The most important thing is the care and support of their families and loved ones. Especially in villages where everyone knows each other, it is necessary to look after not only the families of the mobilized now, but also those whose fathers, husbands, sons are already participating in the special operation,”— informed he is in his Telegram channel.

This week, at a press conference, answering a journalist’s question about the republic’s quota for mobilization, the head of Tuva suggested “stopping” at the figure of 700. Yesterday, the military commissar of Tuva, Demir-ool Artyna, informed the head of the region about the completion of partial mobilization in the republic.
