In the Tomsk region, reservists called up as part of partial mobilization will be paid a lump sum of 100,000 rubles. Governor Vladimir Mazur announced this on Monday in his telegram channel.
“I made a decision on a one-time payment of 100 thousand rubles to all those mobilized from the Tomsk region,” the head of the region wrote.
Mazur added that on his behalf, the Department of Social Protection of the region “is now developing a procedure for receiving payments.”
The governor also noted that in order to receive payment, a serviceman must write an application indicating bank account details. The money will be transferred only to the accounts of those mobilized.
Mazur also noted that the payment of a one-time allowance “does not cancel other measures to support the mobilized” in the Tomsk region. Among such measures are payments “42 thousand rubles each to the families of fighters who find themselves in a difficult life situation.”
Partial mobilization has been going on in Russia since September 21. The corresponding decree was issued by Russian President Vladimir Putin. Support measures are provided for the mobilized and their families.
