Saldo reported on the shelling of the bridge connecting Genichesk with the Arabat Spit by the Armed Forces of Ukraine
Ukrainian troops shelled the bridge across the Tonkiy Strait, which connects Genichesk with the Arabat Spit. About it informed Acting Governor of the Kherson region Volodymyr Saldo. According to him, the Armed Forces of Ukraine fired 12 missiles at the crossing, nine of which were shot down by Russian air defense systems.
Saldo also added that as a result of the shelling, one civilian was injured, who was driving along the bridge at the time of the impact.
“The gas pipeline from the Strelkovskoye field to Genichesk, which was passing near the bridge, was also interrupted. More than 20 thousand residents of the city were left without gas supply, ”wrote the acting head of the Kherson region in his Telegram channel.
He stressed that, according to preliminary information, the damage from the shelling is small.
