The authorities of St. Petersburg banned the movement of jet skis in certain urban areas from May 7 to 10, informed press service of the city administration. The restrictions were introduced along with a ban on the use of UAVs in the sky over the city. Similar measures were introduced in other Russian regions after the attack of two drones on the Kremlin.
UAVs from May 7 to 10 will be able to use only the authorities, as well as organizations operating on state orders, or in the interests of the media and the film industry. The movement of jet skis is prohibited along the Neva – from the Blagoveshchensky Bridge to the Bolshoi Obukhovsky Bridge, two sections of the Malaya Nevka – from the Betancourt Bridge to the Neva and from the Bolshoy Petrovsky Bridge to the Bolshaya Nevka, on the Bolshaya Nevka – from the Ushakovsky Bridge to the Neva, as well as throughout the Kronverk Strait .
It is indicated that measures have been taken to strengthen the protection of order and ensure security during events dedicated to the celebration of Victory Day.
