Due to the strike by Iskander and Kinzhal missiles on a hydraulic structure on the Ingulets River, the leadership of Krivoy Rog decided to blow up the dam.
The mayor of the city Alexander Vilkul spoke about this in the telegram channel.
The official said that after the arrival of the rockets there was a serious accident that threatened to flood Krivoy Rog. Last night, engineers eliminated its consequences. In particular, in the area of Chernogorka, specialists made two explosions of the dam.
The water level in Ingulets is falling, but flooding still persists in the city, work continues, Vilkul said in a video message.
