The authorities of Buryatia have refuted the information that new batches of mobilized people are sent from the region to the zone of the special military operation. As Kommersant was told by the press service of the government of the republic, it is “exclusively about volunteers.”
The source of assumptions about sending residents of Buryatia to the special operation zone was publication in the official account on VKontakte of the administration of the Khorinsky District of Moscow on March 16, in which it was noted that “newly mobilized” residents were sent from the Khorinsky and Kizhinginsky districts. A message with this wording got into some federal media and Telegram channels.
