According to RIA Novosti, the Moscow Department of Health denied the message previously disseminated by the Baza telegram channel about the restoration of the “Covid hospital” in Kommunarka. According to official sources, this information is not true.

According to previously distributed data, it was assumed that at the beginning of September in Kommunarka they relaunched the “Covid Roder” – a medical prefabricated structure for receiving patients with COVID-19. This construct, left over from previous waves of the pandemic, was allegedly activated again due to the expected increase in the number of cases. The Roder was supposed to have 60 beds and currently has more than 20 confirmed COVID-19 patients.

However, according to the official statement of the press service, the “Covid hospital” in Kommunarka has not been restored and does not accept patients for hospitalization. It is, in fact, a reserve medical facility consisting of several roders who are currently on reserve.

The press service also explained that one of the nurseries serves as a day hospital, where outpatient care is provided to patients, including those from risk groups, such as the elderly and those with chronic diseases, in order to prevent complications.
