The athletes’ race took place at the Gulf Stream festival in Murmansk

On Saturday, September 9, as part of the large-scale sports festival “Gulf Stream”, a traditional track and field race across the Kola Bridge took place. 58 athletes took part in the competition.
The race started at 15:00, the MK in Murmansk correspondent reports from the scene. Athletes came to Murmansk from different parts of Russia: from St. Petersburg, Pskov, Tyumen and other cities.
The distance was 1611 meters – this is the length of the Kola Bridge. Sunny and warm weather lifted the spirits of both the athletes and all festival guests.
The first was the athlete from Severomorsk Mikhail Rybakov, who was also the winner of the race last year. After the professionals, everyone was able to overcome the distance.
