We are talking about sending the lunar station Luna-25. The expert has no doubt that the flight will be very difficult. He described his attitude to this with the adage “The hardest trouble is the beginning.” The expert stressed that Russia managed to maintain Soviet qualifications in the industry. Therefore, the flight path will be calculated as accurately as possible.
Surdin is not very confident in the technical component of the project. On the one hand, these are new technologies and new engineers. On the other hand, the area in which they want to land the device. He is sent to the pole, which is more difficult to reach than the equator. At the same time, the specialist recalled that in Soviet times a couple of unsuccessful missions could not be advertised. And tell only about success. Now that won’t work.
The main launch date for Luna 25 is August 11. The launch of the rocket is scheduled from the Vostochny cosmodrome.
