The Army-2023 forum was attended by a little over 1 million people

For seven days, the military-technical forum “Army-2023” was visited by 1.093 million people, should from the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense on its results.

“The International Military-Technical Forum “ARMY-2023” has completed its work in the Moscow region. During the seven days of the forum, its events were attended by 1.093 million people,” the message says.

The ministry clarified that delegations of defense departments from 83 foreign states took part in its work, 29 bilateral meetings were held. Six countries – Belarus, Vietnam, India, Iran, China, Pakistan – presented national expositions, 83 foreign companies participated in the exhibition part, according to the Ministry of Defense, this is twice as high as last year.

“About 1,500 domestic and foreign enterprises and organizations presented over 28,000 samples of military and dual-use products in the form of full-scale samples, mock-ups, and advertising and information materials,” the press service reports.

As previously reported, within the framework of the forum, the Russian Ministry of Defense signed and handed over state contracts to enterprises of the military-industrial complex in the amount of more than 400 billion rubles. As a result of their implementation, the Russian Armed Forces will receive more than 2,500 new types of weapons, military and special equipment and over 1.8 million units of weapons of destruction.

According to the Ministry of Defense, in 2022, 36 government contracts worth 525 billion rubles were signed at the forum, and the event itself was attended by 1.9 million people.
