The annual Spartakiad of the sports society “Dynamo” has started in the Tver region

On Tuesday, February 20, the annual Spartakiad of the Dynamo Sports Society began in the Tver region.
This society was founded on April 18, 1923, and, in fact, became the first of its kind in our country. Its main task was and still remains the creation of conditions for training personnel of law enforcement agencies, as well as the promotion of service-applied sports and a healthy lifestyle.
This society includes representatives of all structures of the Tver region, and on Tuesday the opening of the new sports season of the current year took place. Both employees and heads of structures participated in the opening.
On Tuesday, the events began with cross-country skiing: the relay included four stages of three kilometers each. Nine teams, including 36 athletes, took part in the competition.
