Ambassador to the United States Antonov: Russia does not plan sabotage in the Black Sea against civilian ships
Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov said that Russia is not preparing any provocations against civilian ships in the Black Sea. This is how he commented on the statements of the White House, which reported that there was information about Moscow allegedly having such plans.
According to Antonov, it is, on the contrary, that Kyiv organizes “terrorist sorties”, while Washington “continues to turn a blind eye.”
“This completely contradicts our approaches,” Antonov said. “We have always been at the forefront of the fight against such crimes.”
The ambassador added that allegations to the contrary are “falsification of pure water” and “base anti-Russian provocations” that the US administration “does not disdain”. According to Antonov, similar examples were “shameful” stuffing “about Bucha, the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station and the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant.”
Russia, after withdrawing from the “grain deal”, said that it would consider all ships going to Ukrainian ports as potential military targets. On July 20, Ukraine made a response statement, saying that from midnight on July 21 will consider all ships going to the Russian Black Sea ports as carrying military cargo.
