The All-Russian Spartakiad in summer sports brought a gold medal to Ivanovo taekwondo

The strongest tatami masters gathered last weekend in Moscow for the Spartakiad in summer sports.
Two pupils of sports school No. 7 – Ilya Danilov and Nastya Zarezina, represented our region. The first fight with the winner of the Czech Republic last year, Artem Stepanenko, brought our Ivan victory. The second fight promised to be more difficult – the Ivanovite fought with Sarmat Tsakoev, who more than once became the winner of the national and European championships. Our athlete turned out to be stronger. In the third fight, Danilov defeated the bronze medalist of the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Mikhail Artamonov, with a crushing score of 9: 6. The pupil of the Ivanovo secondary school No. 7 confidently fought and won a sensational victory with a score of 9:6. In the final, he defeated a taekwondo player from Karachay-Cherkessia, Amal Agerzhanokov.
Now the athletes are training for the international tournament in Cherkessk, which will begin at the end of August. At the end of September they will take part in the Russian Championship in Nalchik.
