The All-Russian Alpine Skiing Tournament ended in Polyarnye Zori

As part of the 88th Holiday of the North, Alpine skiing competitions were held in Polyarnye Zori. More than 50 athletes participated in them.
On Monday, April 3, the press service of the government of the Murmansk region reported on the results of the All-Russian Alpine skiing competitions that ended in Polyarnye Zori.
The tournament was held from March 30 to April 2 on the slopes of the Salma complex as part of the 88th Northern Festival. More than 50 athletes from St. Petersburg, Kaluga, Petrozavodsk, Dedenevo and other cities took part in the races.
The Arctic region was represented by skiers from Kirovsk and Monchegorsk, they managed to show good results. Alexandra Naumova from Kirov won the giant slalom and slalom, her countryman Dmitry Sapov won silver medals in both disciplines. Sofia Rydkina, Elizaveta Chesnokova and Ivan Vrachev were awarded bronze medals.
