Former fighters of the Wagner PMC transfer to the Akhmat special forces units and arrive in the military special operation zone, reported “RIA Novosti” commander of “Akhmat” Alaudinov.

According to him, ex-Wagner employees periodically transferred from PMCs before, but now “there has been a massive addition of fighters.”

“It’s probably no secret that I treated the Wagner fighters with great respect, I always considered them worthy guys, they are really patriots of Russia, heroes, you can’t say anything else about them,” said Alaudinov.

He added that for some time during the special operation, Akhmat and the PMC were “neighbors.” In the Chechen special forces, he said, there was confidence that the Wagnerites were “standing firmly,” and there was never any concern for this flank.

On August 23, an Embraer-135 business jet crashed in the Tver region, with Evgeniy Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner PMC, on board.

At the end of September, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed the former chief of staff of the Wagner PMC, Andrei Troshev, to start forming volunteer units. Now Troshev works in the Ministry of Defense.
