The Agency for the Development of Skills and Qualifications has increased the list of its competencies

The Skills and Qualifications Development Agency, the successor to Worldskills, has updated the list of competencies for which competitions will now be held. It is supplemented by eight corporate areas. Now there are 290 competencies on the list, of which 103 have the status of “core”, 75 – “presentation”, 83 – “candidate for presentation” and 29 – “corporate”. Work with juniors – students and schoolchildren under 16 years old is carried out within 122 areas.

The new corporate competencies are: “Marketing of freight rail transportation”, “Logistics management in rail transport”, “Manager for working with marketplaces”, “Gas cutter”, “Reloader control”, “Driver of a car with CMU”, “Nutritionist” and “UX /UI design. The emergence of all these competencies is initiated by companies that need specialists in these areas.

Thus, the “Marketing of rail freight transportation” competency assumes that the specialist will determine the needs of customers in transport and logistics services, forecast demand and traffic volume, and also form strategic marketing initiatives for the development of the company. A specialist in the Marketplace Manager competency will be able to trade on online store platforms, register companies, create a product catalog, plan and execute shipments, analyze reports, conduct advertising, promotion, product certification and brand registration. A specialist in the competence of “Nutritionist” will deal with issues of food hygiene, study the processes of interaction of various types of food products, their chemical composition, the effect of biologically active additives and vitamins on the human body.
