The Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions awarded the best practices for youth employment

The Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions has summed up the results of the All-Russian Competition for Best Practices in Youth Employment. The competition was held in 11 nominations, in particular, “Best practices of support from an educational organization to a workplace”, “Best practices of interaction with an employer, educational organizations and employment centers”, “Best practices for preserving the youth personnel potential of the region”, “Best practices on the employment of special categories of young people (disabled people, people with disabilities).

The awards were given to 113 practices developed by 79 organizations. For example, in the nomination “Best Support Practices from an Educational Organization to the Workplace”, the award was given to the Moscow State Technical University. N.E. Bauman for developing a student program for work at PJSC Gazprom, Russian State Agrarian University – Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev” for the program “Building a career from the 1st year”, which involves accompanying a student from an educational organization to a workplace. In the nomination “Best Practices for Preserving the Regional Youth Human Resources” the award was given to the Moscow State College of Electromechanics and Information Technologies for the program “With an Elevator for Life” the award was received by the Metropolitan Association of Students and Student Associations, which offered career project for the employment of young professionals “Vrabote”. And in the nomination “Best Practices for Attracting Young People to Science-Intensive and High-Tech Spheres”, one of the awards was presented to the Moscow College of Creative Industries named after M. L.B. Krasin” for the project of the didactic career guidance game “Profession Machine”.

As Elena Mukhtiyarova, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, said, she did not expect that the competition would arouse such interest in the first year of the competition, because almost 1,000 applications were sent to the competition jury.

“Next year, we expect that the events will be even larger,” the Deputy Minister noted. – The objective of the competition is to become an annual platform for the exchange of views and best practices on the effective employment of young people, which together we can replicate throughout the country.
