The All-Russian campaign “Days of Russian Wines”, designed to acquaint consumers with the best products of domestic winemakers, has started throughout the country and will last until the end of November.
The action is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Agriculture and Roskachestvo. Experts note that its necessity is long overdue, since consumers who are accustomed to foreign-made wines, mainly European ones, rarely pay attention to the products of domestic producers. The organizers of the campaign hope that the promotion of wines made from Russian grapes will help connoisseurs of good wine to know that in our country there are worthy and high-quality wines that can compete with foreign products.
To boost demand, Russian-made wines will be sold at reduced prices during the campaign.
“During the Days of Russian Wines, consumers will be able to purchase wines from Russian grapes at special prices, the quality of which has been confirmed by experts,” the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation said.
Shops of different formats take part in the action – supermarkets and hypermarkets, wine shops, discounters and duty-free. Among the largest retail chains where you can buy wine as part of the campaign are Perekrestok, Pyaterochka, Auchan, Lenta, Dixy, Magnit, Azbuka Vkusa and others.
Shelves displaying the products of domestic winemakers included in the Russian Wine Guide will be highlighted.
Stores that participate in the Days of Russian Wines campaign will also be marked with special symbols.
