From January to November 2023, the Accounts Chamber identified 3.8 thousand violations worth 1.774 trillion rubles, TASS reported, citing materials from the chamber presented in the State Duma.
According to the Accounts Chamber, in 2022 there were more violations, but the damage from them was half as much: for the entire year, auditors recorded 4.4 thousand violations amounting to 885.6 billion rubles.
In June, acting Chairman of the Accounts Chamber Galina Izotova said that the largest share of problems identified by the Accounts Chamber were violations of budget accounting requirements. There were more than 400 such violations, the damage from them amounted to 1.2 trillion rubles. In second place in terms of prevalence are violations in the execution of the federal budget: the agency discovered 650 such cases with damage of 14.4 billion rubles. Among them, violations are more common when providing subsidies to legal entities (RUB 10.9 billion)
