“League of Friendship” – a project of the Center for Modern Sports Technologies (CSST) of Rosenergoatom and the Basketball Federation of the Smolensk region, which was supported by the ministries of sports of the Russian Federation and Belarus, the basketball federations of both countries, the administration of the Smolensk region and Desnogorsk, the leadership of the Regional Separate Russia Party .
The Fifth Tour of the League ended in the Desna Sports and Sports Complex in the city of Desnogorsk, Smolensk Region. The competitions are held as part of the International 3×3 Basketball Festival of the Rosenergoatom Concern. Round 5 was dedicated to the celebration of the Defender of the Fatherland Day.
12 teams from Russia and Belarus came to Desnogorsk.
In the fifth round, the Moscow “Runa 3×3” takes the title of champion for the second round in a row.
The second was Ostrovets (Grodno region), the third was Baikal (Moscow).
Sergei Kozlov (Runa) was recognized as the best center, Andrey Klimov (Baikal) was recognized as the best forward, Roman Verobey (Ostrovets) was recognized as the best defender and Nikita Padun (Runa) was recognized as the best player of the tournament.
The final eight, which will determine the winner, is scheduled for March 11 and will be held in Smolensk.
