The 49th Murmansk ski marathon started in the Arctic

On Saturday, April 1, the 49th Murmansk ski marathon began in the Murmansk region. It takes place within the framework of the 88th Feast of the North and is its main part.
More than 1.3 thousand people came to the start of the marathon. Among the participants were Olympic champions Denis Spitsov and Nikita Kryukov and many other eminent Russian athletes. Also, the event was in demand among ordinary fans. The northerners were looking forward to this race.

The participants themselves called this marathon race a dress rehearsal before the anniversary race, which will take place in 2024. It is planned that next year the event will be even bigger.
