The International Football Federation (FIFA) posted on website 2026 FIFA World Cup match schedule. The opening match will take place on June 11 at the Azteca Stadium in Mexico City, and the final will take place on July 19 at the MetLife Stadium in the US state of New Jersey.

The first ever World Cup match in Canada will take place on June 12 in Toronto. Vancouver will also host the 2026 World Cup matches.
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is being hosted by the USA, Canada and Mexico. For the first time, 48 teams will take part in the tournament; previously, 32 teams took part in the championships. There will be 104 matches in total. The current world champion is Argentina. Mexico will be the first country to host the world championship for the third time.
