On Saturday, September 30, the All-Russian campaign “10,000 steps to life” was held in the Valdai district, reports the press service of the district administration.
The event was timed to coincide with World Heart Day and All-Russian Walking Day. First, the participants of the action did a warm-up, and then walked together along the health route for 10 thousand steps, after which they had a tea party.
Participants of the event expressed their wishes that the event become traditional for the Valdai region, as it helps to form the habit of a healthy lifestyle.
It is noted that the “10,000 steps to life” campaign is based on the recommendations of doctors who advise exactly this minimum of physical activity per day. The program is aimed at developing and promoting natural healing methods, as well as opening new walking routes in Russian regions.
